We are seeking dedicated volunteers to help lead and manage our dynamic website and community. With a variety of exciting opportunities to choose from, we have five distinct departments available for you to explore. Whether you excel in data entry, staff recruitment, or development, we are looking for individuals with a passion for gaming and expertise in their chosen field to help us bring our vision to life.

Marketing

Our team specializes in advertising, promotion, and social media/blog posts. Your primary responsibility will be to increase brand awareness through various free and paid options, as well as collaborate with YouTubers and Streamers to establish sponsorships and promote our services. We seek individuals who are creative and have a keen eye for marketing to join this vital department.

Support

Our team is responsible for providing user support, relaying feedback and other issues to management for investigation, and actively engaging with users on social media channels such as Discord and Reddit. Our primary goal is to direct users to the appropriate resources and ensure that they adhere to our Community Guidelines. We seek individuals who possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for helping others to join this essential department.

Development

Our team is responsible for the programming and design of all of our services, including the website, APIs, and Discord Bots. As a member of our department, you will be responsible for handling technical bugs and complaints, as well as creating engaging new applications for our brand. With an emphasis on security and user accessibility, your programming skills will be put to the test. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about creating high-quality applications and who possess excellent technical and problem-solving skills.

Operations

Our team plays a crucial role in ensuring that all product information is accurate and up-to-date. In addition, we are responsible for discovering new products from the internet and performing data entry tasks, such as adding new video games, consoles, gear, and price offers from retailers. This requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to research and analyze product information from a variety of sources. As a member of our department, you will be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive and accurate product database and staying up-to-date on the latest trends in the industry.

Management

Our team is responsible for staff recruitment and making sure staff members adhere to our Staff Guidelines and maintain the motivation and engagement of all members. Key responsibilities include communicating with department heads to relay crucial information up the chain, setting company goals and tracking statistics like website traffic and trends.

Requirements

We have set requirements which need to be met, this is to ensure you can do your job correctly and efficiently. We need to be able to get in touch with you if problems arise, and for general communication - please ensure you read the following before applying. If you’re accepted on to the team, you’ll need to provide us with some verification info like your full name, address, phone number and email.

  • Must have general knowledge of computers and access to a computer with a reliable internet connection.

  • Must have a microphone or headset for communication in staff meetings that are held (webcam is optional).

  • Must be aged 16 or older at the time of applying, and not have a criminal record with activity in the last 10 years.

  • Must be fluent in the English language to communicate with other staff members effectively.

  • Must not be employed, affiliated or endorsed by any video game studio, online game retailer or video game distributor.

  • Must live in the United Kingdom, United States or Canada (certain exceptions can be made on a request basis).

  • Must be willing to contribute a reasonable number of hours weekly to help (e.g. 3-4 hours each on Monday, Thursday and Saturday).

  • Must have a registered and 2FA-enabled Discord account and be a member in our Official Discord server.

Optional (but desirable) traits we ask for:

  • Desire to learn new things and a passion for helping people online.

  • Have a passion for video games and the gaming industry.

  • Previous experience working for a gaming company (or community).

Guidelines & Rules

These are rules you must follow whilst being an active member of the staff team, so get familiar with these before you apply. If these change whilst you’re volunteering, you’ll be informed by your department head.

  • Notify your department head when taking time off (longer than 3 days).

  • You must respect other staff members and be professional.

  • Not use your rank to perform acts of abuse/exploitation (all activity is logged internally for verification and historical purposes).

  • Must keep track of weekly activity time (for analytical purposes).
